CONFORMATION JUDGE

Zoran Brankovich is from Belgrade, Serbia.  He and his wife, Anna Brankovich, are both very active in the dog world.  Mr. Brankovich’s background includes breeding and showing Black Russian Terriers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Belgian Shepherds, Middle Asian Sheepdogs, a Pharaoh hound, a Pug, and for the last several years, Labradors.

He is an FCI all-round judge for all breeds, and a working trial judge for Agility, IPO, SchH, Obedience and Hunting dogs.  He has judged on all the continents many times and in almost all of the European countries, judging 30-40 shows both all-breed and specialties, each year.

Mr. Brankovich bred BRTs about 20 years ago, based on dogs from the Russian "Red Star" kennel.

He is the only foreign judge who is approved by the Russian Kennel Club to judge Russian breeds at the Specialty shows in Russia. He has judged BRTs in Russia more than 50 times and judged BRTs in almost all the countries which have BRTs. He is well known to every serious breeder.

He has held BRT breed seminars for new judges in many countries including a seminar in Washington D.C.   He has judged BRTs in America and Canada several times, including at ARBA shows prior to AKC breed recognition.

 

 

SWEEPSTAKES JUDGE

 

Lynette Blue is from Bend, Oregon.  She has owned Samoyeds since 1965 and began exhibiting in 1970.  By 1985 she was the top breeder of Samoyeds in the USA and has maintained or tied with that position every year since.  To date she has bred or co-bred approximately 262 champions, a multitude of Best in Show sinners, Best in Specialty Winners, Group winners/placers, Specialty winners, National Specialty BOB and BS winners, Top Stud dogs and Top Brood bitches, and top winning dogs and bitches.  Her breeding also includes performance titles in obedience, herding, agility, working, tracking and champion sled teams as well. 

Over the years she has pursued obedience competition with dogs earning a number of obedience titles, High in Trial and a Dog World Award winner.  In the past few years she has pursued agility training and skijoring and continues to do a lot of hiking with her dogs.

She became a judge for Samoyeds in 1996 and has judged at three Nationals, including being the conformation breed judge for the 2005 Samoyed National.  She is an approved judge for Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies and Akitas.  She also judges Junior Handlers, Boxers, Dobermans, Bull Mastiffs and Great Pyrenees.
